European Heritage Day – Klingenthal Castle Park

For the first time as part of European Heritage Days, the grounds of Klingenthal Castle are opening their doors to the public.
Along the walk, information boards trace the history of the site and provide a better understanding of its place in Klingenthal’s industrial past. The grounds are home, in particular, to the Maison de l’Entrepreneur, built in the early 18th century. The building itself is not open to the public.
The site is also set to be given a new lease of life thanks to a project that includes, in particular, a concert hall and a future museum dedicated to the music of the 1950s and 1960s.
The project is being carried out in conjunction with the Maison de la Manufacture d’Armes Blanches, which also offers guided tours departing from the museum on Saturdays at 3 pm and on Sundays at 3 pm and 4.30 pm.
