The SR9 Trio presents a programme that spans the ages at the Château d’Ottrott!
In this unique setting, come and (re)discover Baroque music with Jean-Philippe Rameau, French music with Claude Debussy and Lili Boulanger, rhythmic compositions by John Adams, and the tender melancholy of Hania Rani.
In this programme, the SR9 Trio has devised a rich array of instruments – wood, glass, metal, skins… – to revisit a selection of works from the classical music repertoire. Throughout this concert, sound serves as the guiding thread. You will hear familiar instruments such as the marimba and vibraphone, but also raw materials, as if returning to the most ancient vibrations, right down to the bone.
Embark on a journey to the origins of sound and rhythm!
Les Amis des Châteaux d’Ottrott will also be offering a range of activities and a tour of the site upon your arrival at the concert venue.
Location and access: On leaving Klingenthal towards Mont Sainte-Odile, turn left towards the “Eichwaeldel” residential complex and park in the car park at the entrance to the estate. Walk or take the shuttle bus along the forest track, which climbs for approximately 1 km. For those who wish, a paid shuttle service (return) will be provided to access the castles.

For the ascent: departures at 3.00 pm and 4.30 pm
