Attend an organ concert by Anne-Marie Wuscher as part of the painting and text exhibition Contemplation, in the presence of artists Véronique Gnos and Luc Dornstetter. They will be available for a discussion about the exhibition at 3 p.m., followed by the concert at 4 p.m.
Anne-Marie Wuscher is deeply attuned to the expressive richness of organ music, which accompanies human emotions and the inner spiritual life of Christians in their relationship with God. Her commitment as a liturgical organist allows her to give music its full place in Sunday worship services, both as a solo instrument and in accompaniment.
Currently the organist of the A. Kern organ at the Neudorf Protestant parish, Anne-Marie Wuscher is a retired music teacher who studied under Yvonne Monceau and André Stricker at the Strasbourg Conservatory, from which she graduated with a Gold Medal. She regularly plays during midday prayers at Saint Thomas Church and at the Protestant Chapel of the Strasbourg Civil Hospitals, as well as during performances of the Stras'Orgues Festival.
