Jean Vassil, ein 1949 geborener französischer Tierbildhauer, ist für seine Bronzearbeiten bekannt, die die Vitalität und Ausdruckskraft der Tierwelt einfangen. Als Autodidakt begann er mit der Malerei, bevor er sich 1991 der Bildhauerei widmete.
